Premium Care Solutions Strengthens National Business Development Team
10 August 2026
Premium Care Solutions (PCS), a family-run specialist complex care provider, has strengthened its national business development team with the appointment of Tom Claxton as Director of Business Development, working alongside Relationship Managers Laura Platts and Debbie Fry.
The team will work closely with Shadene Causer, who joins Complexus Care as Relationship Manager. Complexus Care works closely with PCS, bringing together shared expertise, values and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred complex care.
Tom brings extensive experience across the pharmaceutical, healthcare and complex care sectors and will lead business development strategy, relationship management and continued growth. His passion for seeing individuals receive excellent care is also personal, having himself been a carer for his mum who lives with a spinal condition.
Tom said:
“What really attracted me to PCS was the passion behind the organisation. Being a family-run business, there is a hands on approach to every client and a common purpose of making sure that every PCS client receives excellent care. What was different about PCS was that the aim was not simply about growth, but also about building trusted relationships and ensuring that, through the services that PCS provide, PCS make a meaningful difference to people and their families.”
“I’m incredibly excited to work alongside Laura, Debbie and Shadene. We share the same passion for complex care and for developing strong partnerships with case managers, commissioners and healthcare professionals across the UK.”
Laura moves into her new role as Relationship Manager, building on her established relationships across the healthcare sector, while Debbie brings significant experience and a strong focus on developing meaningful partnerships across health and social care.
Shadene joins Complexus Care with more than a decade of specialist complex care experience. Her passion is equally personal, having lost her sister to spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) at just four years old.
Together, PCS and Complexus Care will combine their experience, relationships and shared passion to support continued growth while ensuring people with complex needs remain at the heart of everything they do.
Amrit, Managing Director, added:
“We have an exceptional team of people who genuinely care about what they do. With the additions of Tom and Debbie working alongside Laura at PCS and Shadene joining Complexus Care, I’m excited about what we can achieve together and, most importantly, the positive differences we can make for the people and families we support.”
